Following a rather disastrous debut, Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has since reminded Premier League fans why he was considered one of the best keepers in the world at Chelsea.

The 33-year-old Czech stopper signed from Chelsea this summer and statistics show him to be the best keeper in the Premier League so far this season.

Petr Cech’s ‘saves to goals conceded’ ratio is much better than any keeper in the division, with Crystal Palace’s Alex McCarthy coming out in 2nd.

It should probably be noted that Manchester United’s back-up keeper Sergio Romero came 4th in the list, 4 spots ahead of his teammate David De Gea.

Somewhat embarrassingly, both Chelsea goalkeepers Thibaut Courtois and Asmir Begovic fail to make the top 10.

Despite last night’s shock Capital One Cup defeat to Sheffield Wednesday, Arsenal are 5 points better off this season than they were last season after 10 games.
