The Gunners and Crystal Palace have agreed a deal over a loan move for Yaya Sanogo.

The France Under-21 international is on the fringes of Arsene Wenger's first team and a host of Premier League and Ligue 1 sides are looking to take him on loan.

Bordeaux appeared to be in pole position to land Sanogo but Get French Football News believes Palace are close to winning the race for his signature.

Wenger recently confirmed that he wants the striker to get experience in England.

The Gunners boss said: "He will go out on loan.

"My option is preferably in England.

"We are very short today of an option in England but I’m certain he’ll go to an English Premier League club."

Sanogo has scored just one competitive goal for the gunners in 19 appearances.

He is also well down the pecking order at Arsenal and Wenger feel's he will get more game time out on loan.
