Arsenal have made a move in attempts to sign Tottenham Hotspur target Kostas Manolas from Roma, according to reports from the Express.

The 24-year-old only completed a £11million move from Olympiacos last summer, but has already alerted the Premier League pair with his displays last season.

Tottenham were also keen on the player, but interest in the Greece international has cooled down following their acquisition of Toby Alderweireld from Atletico Madrid.

However, it is believed that the Italian outfits are not willing to part ways with the player so soon after his arrival to the club.

Manolas has played a major role for his team this past season, featuring a total of 41 times and helping his side finish second in the league...
