Jack Wilshere has been fined and warned by the FA for his improper conduct during the London club’s FA Cup victory parade.

The 23-year-old midfielder was charged with improper conduct by the FA during Arsenal’s recent open bus trophy tour. Wilshere led the gunners fans in chants about cross town rivals Tottenham Hotspur. This Englishman faced similar charge last season as well after the Gunners’ FA cup triumph, before being warned by the governing body.

FA have now released a statement stating that the England international has been handed over a fine of £40,000, along with a “severe warning” about his future conduct.

“Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere has been fined £40,000 and severely warned as to his future conduct after admitting to a charge of misconduct.

“Wilshere was found guilty of making and/or inciting certain comments during the club’s open bus trophy tour after their FA Cup Final victory, with his conduct deemed to be improper and bringing the game into disrepute.” – Read a statement released on FA’s website.

Jack Wilshere or Arsene Wenger are yet to release an official statement on this ruling, The midfielder was spoken to by the club officials after this incident made it to the headlines, but they decided against taking any actions against him.

Wilshere, who made only 23 appearances for the club this season following his fitness concerns, has been involved in a lot of controversies off the pitch over the past few years. It is perhaps advisable for him to concentrate more on his fitness and fulfilling the potential he has been hailed for since he broke into the first team in the 2008-09 season.

With the Gunners looking to sign another midfielder his summer, he will once again face tough competition to get into the starting eleven regularly next season. His absence from the pitch due the various fitness concerns he has faced over the years has only highlighted his antics off it.
