Arsenal could face a battle to keep midfielder Francis Coquelin as Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly plotting a summer raid.

The 24-year-old has been one of the revelations of the season, returning from a disappointing loan spell at Charlton to establish himself as a key member of the Gunners' starting line-up.

After years of being used sparingly by Arsene Wenger, the Frenchman now appears to be a key part of the squad, but reports suggest his exploits have not gone unnoticed.

With Yohan Cabaye set to leave Paris in the summer, with the Gunners said to be keen, PSG boss Laurent Blanc is thought to have identified Coquelin as his ideal replacement.

Added to the star's quality on the field, being French he would also help with Les Parisiens homegrown quota and, following speculation linking Arsenal with a number of defensive midfielders in recent weeks, he could well be interested in a summer move....
