Arsenal are believed to have 'shaken hands' with Turkish side Besiktas over a deal for David Ospina

Signed from Nice in 2014, the Colombian international could be set to end his stay at the Emirates after four years following the addition of Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen.

The 29-year-old has been backup to Petr Cech for the past three seasons in north London but the arrival of the German has now pushed him further down the pecking order.

Although the Gunners have brought in Leno to help solve their goalkeeping issues, reports in Spain last week had suggested that they were also interested in bringing in Swiss international Yann Sommer.

With Ospina's future now in serious doubt, Turkish publication Fanatik report that Besiktas have taken a significant step in their negotiations with the Gunners over a potential loan deal.

Looking to replace Fabri following his move to Fulham, the Super Lig side are said to have 'shaken hands' over a deal for Ospina, yet they now have to convince the 29-year-old to move.

The goalkeeper is believed to want €4million a season, while Besiktas are only willing to pay €3m.

With reports from Turkey claiming that Senol Gunes' side want Ospina, Sky Sports report that they have made contact with Liverpool over a deal for Simon Mignolet.

The Belgian international is currently out of favour at Anfield and Alisson's move from Roma has only put his future in further doubt.
