Wenger said that the players who did not feature in the match, namely Mesut Ozil, Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott, Aaron Ramsey, Santi Cazorla, Laurent Koscielny, Kieran Gibbs and new signing Petr Cech will all take part at the National Stadium.

"I came out here to give a game to everyone," Wenger, the Arsenal manager, said. "The players who were not involved in the last game against Singapore will all play."

Wenger is expecting to face a fired-up Everton looking to make amends for a disappointing 2014/15 season that was marked by a poor start.

When asked if he was expecting a competitive final, Wenger replied: "Yes, because the first half was very competitive between Stoke and Everton and the challenges were full Premier League challenges and I expect that from Everton.....
