Arsene Wenger has told Arsenal that there is no time to lick the wounds of their Bayern Munich defeat as he demands a swift response in the visit of Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

In contrast, Wenger's side sit top of the Premier League table along with Manchester City, and the Frenchman does not want his side dwelling on what happened at the Allianz Arena.

"We now have to focus on the Premier League on Sunday and bounce back with a different performance because we are in a good position in the league," he told the club's official site.

"It's important that we realise what we did today and we know that." Arsenal host Dinamo Zagreb in their next Champions League outing on November 24.
