Alexis Sanchez suggests he will play for Arsenal on Saturday at West Brom

Alexis Sanchez returned from international duty with Chile and it appears the Arsenal star is desperate to play on Saturday.

Arsene Wenger has hinted at a rest for Sanchez who has played an incredible amount of football over the past few months.

The Gunners star, who will reportedly sign a new five year deal at The Emirates in the coming weeks, played the full 90 minutes for Chile in both World Cup qualifying games against Colombia and Uruguay.

In total, Sanchez has played 29 of a possible 31 recent games; including 2367 minutes of a possible 2790. The most of any player of Premier League player since June 1 at club and international level.

Nevertheless, on Instagram on Thursday night, Sanchez posted a message and photo that suggests he is raring to go for Arsenal’s trip to West Brom on Saturday

Sanchez tagged his picture with the following message: “Hello gunners now focused on the Arsenal … My home.... come on Saturday

This West Brom game is followed by a crucial Champions League game against Dinamo Zagreb at The Emirates.
